We are excited to offer learning opportunities for our students this summer via programs they are already accustomed to using on their school-issued devices in the classroom. Please click the link to find out more.
Making adjustments in grade level devices will allow all students to take home their devices and keep a device over the summer months.
Good evening. This is a message from Mentor Schools. Due to the weather conditions, and the expected continuation of heavy snow in our area - classes are cancelled for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 16, 2021. This includes all Mentor Schools classes --- for both in-person and Mentor Schools Online students. With the National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning in effect until 1:00 p.m. tomorrow, we are making the call this evening to allow for more time for families to make arrangements. Again, Mentor Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 16, and this includes all of our school buildings as well as Mentor Schools Online. Thank you.
Every year our superintendent gives the business community an update about our school district. This year's presentation focused a lot on our COVID-19 mitigation strategies as well as some other curricular and extracurricular highlights, and at the very end, there's an incredible performance by our choir students. With the support and guidance of Lake County’s Health Commissioner Ron Graham, we are making the decision to extend fully remote learning districtwide through January 8th. That means we would aim for a return to our in-person Hybrid model on Monday, January 11th.
Beginning Thursday, November 12 through at least Thanksgiving Break
